Method:
Cut the paneer into small cubes and set aside.
Roughly chop the tomatoes, onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies.
In a pan, heat the oil and butter over medium heat.
Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onions, garlic, ginger, and green chilies, and sauté until onions turn translucent.
Add chopped tomatoes and sauté until they become soft and mushy.
Add red chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, and salt, and mix well.
Cook the masala for 5-6 minutes or until the oil separates from the mixture.
Let the mixture cool down and blend it into a smooth paste.
In the same pan, add the blended paste and cook it for 2-3 minutes.
Add heavy cream and mix well.
Add paneer cubes and cook for 3-4 minutes or until the paneer is coated well with the gravy.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve hot with naan, roti, or rice.
Tips:
To make the dish more flavorful, you can add kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves) at the end.
If you prefer a spicier version, you can add more red chili powder or green chilies.
